Job description

As Naval Architect, you will be part of the Naval Architect team and contribute to tasks such as hull design, CFD analysis, stability assessments, rules & regulations compliancy, weight calculation and structural design. The final job description will be tailored to the applicant´s experience and interests.

This is a full-time, permanent position that will be filled as soon as a suitable person is found.

Possible responsibilities

• Hull design
• Basic structural calculations and reports
• Hydrostatic calculations and reports
• CFD Analysis
• Customer communication

Preferred requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Naval Architecture
• +5 years’ experience in naval architecture
• +5 years’ experience in hydrodynamics
• Willingness to learn and develop their skills
• Proactive way of working
• Self- management skills
• Fluent in English both spoken and written

Special consideration is given to applicants who have experience in:

• Small craft design
• Hydrodynamics
• Serial production boat design
• Commercial craft design
• High speed craft design
• Design for manufacturing
• Composites structural design
• Aluminum structural design
• SolidWorks or similar parametric 3D software
• Technical detail designs in boats and yachts
