Job description

As Industrial Designer, you will be part of the design team, taking care of projects from concept to manufacturing and contributing to tasks such as 3D-modelling, concept and layout design, detailed design and customer communication. Knowledge of basic engineering and design for manufacturing is beneficial. The final job description will be tailored to the applicant´s experience and interests.

This is a full-time, permanent position that will be filled as soon as a suitable person is found.

 Possible responsibilities

• Concept design of different vessels
• 3D-modelling of boat parts etc.
• Preparing layout designs in 3D
• Detailed design
• Renderings & visualisations in different project phases
• Customer communication

 Preferred requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in industrial design, product design or other relevant degree
• +5 years’ experience in designing small craft and in industrial design.
• +5 years’ experience in Advanced parametric design software such as SolidWorks or Siemens NX
• Experience from working together with naval architects
• Experience in 3D modelling with Rhinoceros, blender or similar.
• Willingness to learn and develop your skills.
• Proactive way of working.
• Self-management skills.
• Fluent in English both spoken and written.

• A- class surface design
• Knowledge of ergonomics
