Job description 

We are always on the lookout for talented candidates with experience in or passion for the maritime industry. Whether you are a junior professional eager to learn or a seasoned expert ready to lead complex projects, we want to hear from you. 

As a Naval Architect, you will be part of our naval architecture team, contributing to a wide range of tasks such as hull design, CFD analysis, stability assessments, structural design, and compliance with rules and regulations.

Possible responsibilities 

• Design and develop vessel structures and systems in compliance with industry standards and regulations.

• Stability analysis and reports 

• General rules & regulations compliancy  

• Create and optimise 3D models using SolidWorks, Rhino, or similar CAD software.  

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure technical accuracy and project success.  

• Participate in concept development, feasibility studies, and detailed engineering phases.  

• Provide innovative solutions to improve performance, sustainability, and safety.  

• Perform CFD analysis to support hull optimisation and performance evaluation.  

• Engage in customer communication (depending on experience level) to ensure alignment with project goals. 

 Requirements 

• A bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Naval Architecture or equivalent experience. 

• Interest or experience in small crafts, commercial vessel design, or ships. 

• Familiarity or experience with SolidWorks, Rhino or other parametric 3D software. 

• Understanding of hydrodynamics and structural design principles. 

• Experience working with composites or aluminium structures is a plus. 

• Fluent in English both spoken and written. Finnish language skills are considered an advantage. 

• Willingness to learn and develop your skills.
